I'm Marie JENSEN (née WICKMAN), originally from Sweden and now happily settled in sunny Béziers, Hérault, 34, France, with my husband Pierre (Per). My lifelong love affair with the Devon Rex began back in 1982 when I first encountered these magical, curly-coated "gremlins." It was instant—those big ears, playful personalities, and soft waves stole my heart!

It took several years, but in 1991 my dream came true with the arrival of VEIDALS Roussillion, a stunning blue male who truly captured my soul.
I was incredibly fortunate to be part of the early days of the breed in Sweden through my late mother-in-law, Tove Jensen, founder of the FIFe-registered VEIDALS cattery (specializing in Persians and Devon Rex). Together with my father-in-law Freddy (whom I sadly never had the chance to meet), they were among the very first Swedish breeders to import Devon Rex cats from the UK pioneers who dedicated themselves to preserving and developing this unique breed.

One highlight: Their first Devon import, Stefanus Lyx, and the male Berilleon Perky they brought in trace directly back to Kirlee—the legendary founder of the entire Devon Rex breed—in just the 4th generation! (I still treasure that precious pedigree.)

In 1994, on my 30th birthday, I received the most wonderful gift: my own prefix, S*GIGGLE'S (registered 22 March 1994). I bred beautiful Devon Rex under this name until 2006, when I also joined CFA and started Q-T-CURLS. After a 10-year break from breeding, I'm thrilled to be back since 2024—stronger and more passionate than ever!

Our Philosophy
Health and happiness come first. We breed strictly to the FIFe Devon Rex standard, producing well-socialized, loving kittens ready to become cherished family members. Every breeding cat (and all kittens) undergoes:
HCM heart scans (not kittens)
Full DNA testing for genetic diseases, coat colors, traits, and blood groups

Our cattery is proudly affiliated with Clinique Vétérinaire Foch in Béziers, under the expert care of veterinarian M. Arthur SAUVINET.

I'm also a proud member of the Cat Club de Lyon Dauphiné Savoie (a vibrant FIFe club organizing wonderful shows in the Rhône-Alpes region). And great news: On 26 July 2024, my prefix GIGGLE'S was permanently registered with LOOF—everything is now perfectly aligned for FIFe pedigrees, shows, and litters here in France!
