I am Marie JENSEN, née WICKMAN from Sweden, now live in France with my husband Pierre (Per). My first encounter with the Devon Rex breed was in 1982, I just fellt in love but it took me some years to recuire my first little "gremlin". In 1991 he was born, VEIDALS Roussillion, a blue male that stoled my hart.

I had the fortune to have my late mother-in-law, Tove Jensen, owner of VEIDALS, FIFe registrated cattery that bred Persians and Devon Rexes, she and my father-in-law, Freddy, that I unfortunately never had the chanse to meet, was among the first breeders in Sweden to import this beautiful breed, they met many of the breeders in UK that had decided to take on this great work of preserving and developing the breed. I have here the pedigree of their first devon, Stefanus Lyx they imported one male Berilleon Perky, that has Kirlee, the founder cat of Devon Rex, in 4th generation!!

I had my prefix, S*GIGGLE'S (registered 1994-03-22)  as my birthday present when I was 30 and bred devon under that prefix until 2006, when I decided to join CFA and required Q-T-CURLS, I stopped breeding some 10 years ago but will now return under the patronage of Cristiana Marangoni, "degli ELFI" from who I had my beloved Ulthar Il Rosso degli ELFI
